The long-awaited news is here – price of energy for the whole year 2024 are finally known and because energy is the main variable of all colocation services, we have great news for you - a reduction of price. The basic server colocation service is now available from € 30,91 per month with discount for annual payment period and we provide energy for the rack hosting service with the power input calculated according to the real consumption at the final price for € 0.33 /kWh.
Over 56% of connection server attempts are from Russia
Our data center network administrators have recently been solving problems our customers who are unable to connect to the remote desktop of their server via TCP port 3389. Analysis of their network traffic is following after each client report and in all cases an abnormal number of connections to a source from the Russian Federation has been detected. Unfortunately, this is not a joke, but a fact.
Foyer reconstruction – limited access to data center
The access to our data center will be limited from Friday August 25 to Sunday, August 27, 2023. The reason of this limitation is a scheduled reconstruction of foyer - enter room.
Windows Server 2012 was removed from VPS
We decided to remove operation system Windows Server 2012 from available installation media of Coolhousing data center virtualization list due to higher security.
Special rack cabinet in server room S1
Another good news – another improvement. In the past few days, we have installed the most modern Conteg rack cabinet in our oldest server room S1 with a base of 800x1000 mm and the possibility to hold up to 48U equipment. The S1 server room is primarily designed for server colocation and serverfarm colocation services. Leaving aside the unusually large size, what makes this rack special is the placement of two ePDUs from two different UPS circuits.
