A year ago we became a member of the FENIX Network and we also connected to the AMS-IX and DE-CIX peering exchange points in the Netherlands and Germany. The FENIX network protects verified operators and their customers, i.e. also the Coolhousing customers, against consequences of unpleasant DoS/DdoS attacks; at the same time, our presence in two largest internet exchange points worldwide cuts responses from the Coolhousing network to DE-CIX to just 10ms and to AMS-IX to little less than 20ms.

Precisely a year ago, on Monday January 12, 2015, Coolhousing deployed its own connections to the most important DE-CIX and AMS-IX internet exchange points. Latencies to the interconnected networks decreased thanks to this fact and a much higher level of connection quality has been achieved.
