Microsoft becomes a member of the Linux Foundation
So pigs can fly! What else can tell. Let us leave the vain and empty words. Microsoft has joined the Linux Foundation! It happened at the instigation of Satya Nadella, who has a positive relationship to open source software and would like more converged both worlds. At the same time it can be expected that there will be closer a business and technological cooperation between development teams of Linux and Windows. The importance of Microsoft’s entry is confirmed by the fact that Windows became a platinum partner in the Linux Foundation (Google is the only gold!) While the offices of seznam.cz had probably a massive party in the style of the Wolf of Wall Street, users of google demanded some information about outage, however without success. Eventually it turned out that technical error in routing could made this problem, due to all Google services, including Gmail, Youtube, were out of service nearly two hours.
