Linux Mint has not solved a security yet
Very popular distribution of Linux Mint fails in its promise and security does not belong among the priorities of development. Every day developers distribute more new updates, which provide a better user experience, but also often damage what worked perfectly and bring chaos or even mess into the system. Intel is working on the light version of x86
Core is dead, long live for the x86. Do you think that we are mad? We are not, really! Core platform is apparently dead, and now Intel is working on develop of a new lightweighted platform that will replace the existing version x86. The new architecture should be available during 2019 and 2020 and be fully compatible, at least in the area of server processors, with the original series. More information
OpenVPN 2.4.0 was released
OpenVPN has a new version: 2.4.0. In this version, we can find support ECDH key exchange, compression using LZ4 and, finally, support for IPv6 DNS. There is also support for Android and AIX. The complete list of changes is available on GitHub. More information

Local serious vulnerability that allows privilege escalation was founded directly in the kernel. This applies to large-scale version and it is therefore recommended to update your kernel. More information
