MS paint stays!
The most important news of the last week: MS Paint will stay in Windows! You do not have to jump under a train or commit another suidcide. Paint should be removed, however public pressure has contributed, that was moved to the Windows Store and will be available for download and for free. Yeah, world was saved! More information
USB 3.2 will be double faster
And less important news…The USB 3.0 Promoter Group has announced the upgrade USB on the version 3.2. The most significant change will be doubled the transmission capacity to 20 Gbps. Real expansion can be expected from 2019. More information
Debian reported 94 % of reproducible builds
The developers of only one decent Linux distribution, Debian, announced the transition to a so-called replicable compilation two years ago. This makes easier authenticity verification of source code. Currently, 94% of the packages were compiled. The remaining only approximately 1300 packages.

Hole in Java
Java SE contains remote vulnerability in versions 6u151, 7u141 and 8u131. Fixes are part of Oracle’s new Critical Patch Update (CPU). More information
Firefox again…
Even Firefox can not avoid of vulnerabilities. A remotely exploitable vulnerabilities in versions 54 and ESR 52.2 has been identified and allow the attacker to gain full access over the system. More information
