Paul Allen passed away
Paul Allen, one of the Microsoft founders, passed away at age 65. The sad news from the IT world was commented by, besides Microsoft, heads of Google, Apple and other technology giants. Let us add that Paul Allen was not only a significant innovator, but also a philanthropist, researcher and great sports fan who owned several sports clubs. R.I.P. More information
Twitter maybe stalks
Another shock for Twitter. The Irish Commission has decided to investigate Twitter because of the t.co service, which allowed to track the users position. It is all the more interesting, because Twitter management refused to show tracked data within GDPR. More information
The first root key was changed
The long-awaited change of root zone key DNSSEC was done exactly as scheduled. By this step, the transition from key 19036 from 2010 to the new key 20326 from last year has been completed. A preparation work on this transition has taken place since last year, thus everything should be okay now. More information
