Until then, our Coolhousing data center offered Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Supermicro and servers built in-house by our engineers, called Barebone. Our portfolio of dedicated servers has therefore been newly expanded by the Dell Poweredge R440 server, which is officially the first Dell server in our offer.
It’s no coincidence. If you visit our data center, you will find that the Dell brand is very popular among server administrators. For a long time, we have been trying to find a server supplier of this brand that would meet our high demands in terms of customization options, speed of delivery and, of course, hardware service. All our requirements have been met by DAVITY, which not only became our main supplier of Dell servers, but also took under its wing Hewlett Packard servers, whose portfolio will now also be gradually updated.
With both Dell and HPE servers, you can always rely on full compatibility with the VMware virtualization platform, and each server includes a redundant power supply and a full remote management license.
Leading by example
We are really serious about the Dell servers offer, therefore we have already implemented 3 servers of this brand in our infrastructure. We currently run two storage servers for backups of all internal systems and one DMZ server for the purpose of running internal systems.
We would never provide our customers technology, which we don’t trust ourselves, and running our own internal systems is the best proof of that.
