Intel will leak out
Key personnel Kirk Skaugen and Doug Davis abandoned Intel only a few days ago. This was unfortunately just an augury of a more massive dismissing. It´s been a lot of years that the QuickTime media player on Windows was very popular. Many other projects replaced his position and his faded glory was never restored. Therefore Apple has decided to terminate his existence and not publish the next versions. It´s surprising that neither the security updates correcting two serious errors won´t be publish. Beta version of new Doom was opened
Beta version of the new action shooter Doom, which should restart the entire series, which began its existence in 1993, was released for the public for a few days. It included only multiplayer with very limited mapping range, but even so the action provoked an extraordinary interest. It´s a pity that the high expectations weren´t implemented and critical evaluation prevail. We´ll see, if something changes to the sharp release. More information
TSMC fell sales
TSMC company announced its financial results, which reveal a 18% decrease of sales in year on year. The operation of the company was affected by a strong earthquake that struck in Taiwan in early February and led to the suspension of production, delays in implementation of orders and therefore to the forementioned decline in sales. Newly TSMC wants to focus on the 10nm manufacturing process, which should quickly compensate for incurred losses. More information
