Today at 12:00 will be newly generated passwords for all our customers with access to ControlPanel. Reason for this massive password change is for improve of security and in light of recent events relating Heartbleed bug. OpenSSL library was immediately patched after bug detection and also we have generated new SSL certificates, but until now managed to revoke old SSL certificates. And now is the time to change passwords.
On this occasion, we modified the conditions for generating passwords and also has been tightened the conditions for the correct (strong) password. Each entry must now contain at least one uppercase letter, at least one lowercase letter, at least one number and length must not be less than 8 characters.
Clients with virtual servers, who actively use VNC console and VPSadmin control panel, is also recommended to change the password.
During update of our client section the error occurred and passwords for access was generated earlier than the announced 12.00. Valid is original plan and valid passwords will be generated according to plan 27.05 at 12:00.
We would like to apologize for complications that accompanied the generating new passwords in to client section. When you update client section unfortunately an error has occurred and passwords was generated earlier than the announced 12 am. Unplanned passwords distribution was caused by an error during testing and simulation of generating new passwords.
At 12 am have been passwords generated by the plan. Very apologize for the confusion during generation of new passwords.
