The cause of failure, which occurred during testing of a newly installed diesel engine on Wednesday October 10 2016 were discharged batteries of one part of central UPS. Monitoring and display of this central unit, which was controlled in spring 2016, hasn´t shown the real capacity of the batteries, which showed a half capacity of batteries at the time of test.
This very expensive experience has taught us that it could not rely on monitoring and data display reports and it is a necessity to measure the capacity of batteries directly on batteries and their power inputs/outputs.
For the inconvenience we apologize once again and this evaluation will be solved with UPS supplier.
