Microsoft sticks holes in XP and Vista
Due to the alleged risk of attack on government organizations, guys from Microsoft have decided to release unusual updates for Windows XP and Vista, which have long been unsupported. Support for Windows XP has already ended after many extensions in 2014; common support for significantly newer Windows Vista has ended even one year earlier. At least this is asserted by Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), which published a very surprising judgment. According to court, share any content on some running platform is so-called public communication. In practice, this means, that even if data are shared by users, the server plays a key role in it and owner of server could be guilty. It may therefore be legally responsible for the expanding of this content. More information
